I have lived in Countesthorpe for 15 years and have had an allotment for the past 3 years, I find it relaxing and a good way to meet people

Treasurer – Maggie Mason
I have lived in Countesthorpe for over 8 years and I have an allotment which I share with my son Paul and really enjoy our time there.
I have been the Allotments Treasurer since April 2024.
Allotment holders here are really friendly and it is a great way of meeting people. and also feeling the benefit of eating your own home grown produce.

Allotment Officer – Tracey Donovan
I am humbled by the opportunity to serve as the Allotment Officer, a role that brings together my passions for creativity, gardening and wildlife, especially supporting pollinators.
Allotments are more than just plots of land; they are places of growth, healing, and connection. The allotment space allows me to be creative, to scatter kindness, and to respectfully support those who may need an extra hand.
It’s a privilege to help nurture the wellbeing of our community. I’m committed to fulfilling this role with fairness, compassion and integrity.
I look forward to working alongside plot holders and community organisations to promote inclusive development.
Allotments aren’t only about vegetation, they’re about people, community, and shared purpose. I’m here to support, listen and grow with you. Let us get to know each other and grow something great together.
Please feel free to speak to any of these members about any concerns you have and improvements that could be made to make to society an enjoyable place to be part of, you can also contact the committee by emailing secretary@cthorpeallotments.co.uk
