Chairman – Tony Postlethwaite
I have been a plot holder for the last 12 years (the Good Life) Who remembers that?
I have maintained the allotments for the past 3 years along with my wife, who is the Allotment officer, turning around plots that have been left uncultivated when a plot holder leaves for whatever reason and we need to get it back to a re-rentable condition. I also maintain the areas around the Allotment.
In these difficult times it is good to see Plot Holders growing their own.
My Hobby is Radio Control Aircraft so check out my Drone Footage that is on our Allotment Web Site!
Allotments Officer – Gill Postlethwaite
I have lived in the village for the past 33 years and have been a plot holder for the past 11 years… upon being voted onto the allotment committee in October 2019 as Allotment officer my aim was to turn around vacant plots which has not seen any revenue for several years & to bring a fresh & new look allotment into place… I am very much a hands on person… passionate in maintaining the Allotment & always moving it forward & a people person, that’s me… Gill

I have lived in Countesthorpe for over 8 years and I have an allotment which I share with my Son Paul and really enjoy our time there.
I have been the Allotments Treasurer since April 2024.
Allotment holders here are really friendly and it is a great way of meeting people. and also feeling the benefit of eating your own home grown produce.
