Summer Social Event 2023

A big thank you to all plot holders, family and friends who attended the 2023 summer social event, it was a huge turn out!

Many thanks go to those who helped with the event set up, donated raffle prizes,  provided food & drink, helped on the day and the big clear up after the event!

A very special thank you goes to Olly Emmerson, plot 44, who very kindly offered to cook Chicken on the second BBQ. Olly got into the Caribbean chicken theme by wearing his Rasta hat & glasses.

The raffle raised a whopping £162.00 and all proceeds will go to the running of the society.

The children’s colouring competition was a tough one to judge as they were all budding artists! Therefore all of the children took home a joint 1st prize and were all awarded with sweets.

The trophies were awarded on the day for The Best Allotment and The Most Improved for 2023.

Congratulations to Janice Szewczuk of plot 13A, who was awarded the Best Allotment trophy.

Also Congratulations to Jeanette & James Sanders-Rea of plot 58, who were awarded the Most Improved Allotment trophy.
